Sounds
Bike bells ringing in Amsterdam, the wind in the trees riding bikes near Bruges, and the rush of trains whizzing by 20 feet from a bed in Bacharach. Boats motoring by on the Mosel, 1 Liter beer mugs clinking in Rothenburg and Munich, and the crackling audio of Hitler preaching in Nurnberg and Salzburg. Scratches made on paper in pubs in Prague, the ground crunching while hiking near Fussen, and rivers rushing by and waterfalls falling in Luzern and Lauterbrunnen. The wooden thump of cog railways in the Berner Oberland, silence while hiking near Mannlichen, and the deafening wind whipping by at Jungfraujoch. Vaporetto engines churning in Venice, motor scooters whizzing by in Florence and Rome, and gelato being scooped out of tins all over Italy. The unfamiliar languages, the laughter (the same in any language), and the whistle from the train conductor, signaling the beginning of another adventure.

Nice! I like this entry, Kevin.
I'm with Sara. This is very nice.
This is like poetry. Can hear the sounds in my head when I read it.
