The Quest for the Cheapest Beer and the Car we should have Stolen

I made it a goal today to find cheap beer, and I think we did a good job. 30 crowns! For .5L of Pilsner Urquell. (A can is .33L) At the current exchange rate of nearly 20 to 1, thats a $1.50! Sweet! I'm not sure why I'm not still at the pub! I told Kevin that if we found .5L for 20 crowns, we would have to stay at that bar until we drank 3 each. Unfortunately we never found this Holy Grail of beer pubs. If you're in the main square, the same beer could cost as much as 85 crowns. You start saving money as you figure out the places that are jacking up prices. But if you just came off the plane and hit the town square, you don't know any better. Even a few blocks off the market, the prices drop to 45 at Czech pubs. The 30 crowns was down in the Lesser Quarter. Food prices also drop significantly, and the food is actually better.

Heres the car we should have stolen -- a Maserati Quattroporte...looked like it was fresh off the dealer floor. Saw a Porsche 911 turbo earlier that had a baby seat crammed into the tiny backseat. Ha. Bet that guy won't have that car much longer.

Heres a good nightshot of the bridge again. Started playing around with color accents on the camera. Hard to get good focus though. I added some additional blur effects in picasa to arrive at what you see here.

Good Morning [here at least]. You should have at least 'borrowed' the car and taken it for a spin. Wear gloves - leave no fingerprints. Have a good day. AA
